Staff Connie is joining the Info-Activism Camp 2009, which held in Bangalore, India. The camp is all about the use of modern technology, in order to change the world. Campaigner from all over the world will gather at Bangalore, to share their experience in using the digital technology more efficiently and effectively to facilitate and promote the activity on advocacy.

Connie is going to introduce the current situation of Hong Kong Sex workers, especially on the recent murder case of the sex workers, and the progress on the decriminalization of sex work in Hong Kong. In addition, she will learn to use the new digital technology to facilitate the activity on public education and advocacy.

Staff Connie and Cherry are joining the celebration of The International day of Sex Workers (3rd March) at Kolkata, which organized by Durbar Mahila Samanwaya Committee (DMSC), the Sex Workers Collective of West Bengal, India. The five days program which will be starting from 27th February and continue till 3rd March 2009 will include several parallel sessions in addition to cultural programs. All the issues and strategies are to address social discrimination, violence etc. focusing marginalized community with special reference to sex workers. We shall be shortly sharing with you the detail program schedule which includes debates, seminars, workshops etc. which will be held during these days in partnership with different Educational Institutions in Kolkata.
